Diving and Snorkeling
around St. John and the British Virgin Islands is some of the best of the Caribbean.
We have crystal clear waters, protected snorkel and dive sites, and unspoiled reefs making Virgin Islands scuba diving and snorkeling one of the premier dive vacation
destinations in the world. The Virgin Islands is known for the diversity and quality of snorkeling and scuba dive sites. There is adventure for
everyone, experienced and novice divers, and snorkelers alike.
Virgin Island dive sites are mostly shallow,
most often with little or no current,
with few sites deeper than 75 feet making them ideal for longer bottom times. Fringing reefs, rocky pinnacles,
and swim throughs all attract an interesting array of marine life. Turtles, eels, octopus, lobster, eagle rays, and
so much more. Underwater here you will see an outstanding array of beautiful hard corals,
soft corals, and sponges.
Easily accessible from our St. John east end port, is the RMS Rhone, one of the most famous wreck dives in the world. Located
off Salt Island, BVI, she sank in 1867 and is a must see.
